Communicate to suppliers

  • Updated

This article covers how to communicate to your suppliers in Secaro – whether that’s responding to their message, querying their reporting data, or something else. You can manage all supplier conversations from the platform.

Send a direct message to a supplier

  • Log in to Secaro & Click Manage.
  • From the drop-down menu, click Request data.
  • Find the supplier you want to send a message to in the Pending, Accepted or Rejected / cancelled sections on the page. For example:

    • You may want to find out why the supplier has not yet responded or reiterate the importance of sharing their data to encourage engagement.
    • You may want to clarify or query part of the reporting data if anything is unclear or requires further validation.
    • You may want more information about the reason for rejecting the request so that you can provide appropriate support.
  • Once found, click into the supplier request. A pop-up window will appear.

  • Scroll in this window until you see a section called Comments. Here you can open a dialog box, type your message in the box.

Respond to a direct message from a supplier

  1. Your suppliers may also send you direct messages on the platform, whether to clarify some information or to add more context to their reporting.

  2. In the message column, a message icon will be shown in bold to show that you have a new message to read.

💡We are currently implementing an email notification system. For the time being, you will need to check manually for new messages. This is temporary and a solution will be available soon.
